Creativity Challenges – Favorite Fiction Character, Planning Signifier & Hobbies

June 2017 # 4

My challenge responses for June 4, 2017. I don’t know that I can handle more than 3 at a time – the problem is – I do them and forget to post them! So I made a calendar in my Bullet Journal to track where I’ve posted my challenges. Making it pretty was just a bonus. I practiced some blending on the letters with my Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I think it looks like a sunset – and makes me think of summer. The plan with me challenge was to show “My Signifiers” – I just happened to include some specific to this page. (I love it when this happens!)

Favorite Fictional Characters: I don’t really have a favorite fictional character – I like those who show morals and stand up for themselves. Characters that fight for the good in the world, are compassionate and are very quotable. If you can’t quote them, what’s the point?

The other day I did a drawing of Gollum/Smeagle eating a doughnut for “National Doughnut Day” (see Lord of the Donuts post here) and someone commented on my Instagram account (btw, follow me here) the quote from Samwise Gamgee:

“There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for.” -Samwise Gamgee

I couldn’t agree more, Samwise. I will be scouring for other fictional characters that are quotable, because their quotes are fun to write.
