I am Tricia – owner of Chocolate Musings. Home Loan Processor by day, and a mom of 3, a wife, cook, maid, taxi driver etc the rest of the time. I like to think that I have a little bit of superhero in my blood. I like quotes. I like purple. I like to doodle and write. I have a collection of fonts. I like Diet Dr. Pepper. I like cool spring and fall nights. I like greenery and the view of the mountains. I like to organize. I have the best ideas that come in the shower. They usually wash down the drain along with the shampoo and conditioner that run through my hair.
What is “Chocolate Musings”? This is how I think of it: at the end of the day when you bring out your stash of good chocolate and are musing about your day, what do you think about? These are my chocolate musings.
I want to empower anyone who feels like they “can’t”. I have felt like I “can’t” for a very long time. I have felt like I am not good enough, not talented enough, that I don’t have enough wisdom or experience for any given subject. I look at the accomplishments or talents of others and have felt that I shouldn’t even try because I will never be good enough. I don’t feel that I have lived my life to the fullest capacity. I have not fully loved, I have not given it my all. I have held portions of myself back due to fear, uncertainty and all the other excuses that I have allowed myself to think. Enough is enough. I see that I am passing these same uncertainties onto my children and I want more for them. I want them to realize their dreams and be free to do what they want to do in this existence. I figure the best way for me to show them that they can do anything they set their heart to – is for me to show them how I do it too. Whether or not anyone reads my content, I am putting it out there as a way to be accountable for my whole life improvement.
I invite you to share your own ‘chocolate musings’ and start living life more fully than you may have done yesterday. I want this to be a safe place to grow, no matter where you are starting. I will not tolerate bullying, trolling or the like. Positive reinforcement and gentle suggestions will be readily accepted. Just like the famous quote from Thumper “If you can’t say nothing nice, don’t say nothing at all”.
